It's been a long, long while since I've posted anything new on Space Monkey Mafia studios, and I REALLY must apologize for that! I do love this site, what everyone does, and love being a part of it.



So why have I been busy? Well my professional acting career recently skyrocketed out of proportion, taking time away from me having a regular job, and a regular income, as well as a consistent lifestyle in general! I've barely had time to make new posts on my own site, Strike A Pose!!! Films.

But what else have I been up to? Why am I making a post in the new category, Indy Intel that Cody cooked up?

Well, dear readers and space monkeys, it is because I am currently the director/co-writer/and most specifically, Producer on my own upcoming short film, BITE THE HAND. Aside from my own website and the film's official website, I am officially giving SMMS the OFFICIAL first exclusive inside look at our story and campaign. Here's the teaser, followed by a quick synopsis:

This jagged, hard-boiled thriller is about an aging hit man named Jack (Paul R. Sieber) who one day grows a conscience and decides to quit his blood-drenched career. But old connections just won't die. Jack rejects his final and most detestable assignment: Annihilate the wife and daughters of a monstrous, power-mad client (John C. Bailey). Now he's a contract killer turned target by his former organization, and it's boss: the mysterious Mr. Callahan.

Jack takes his quest for redemption a step further by knocking off the child-murdering, psychopathic replacement killer, Ken Bayowitz (Dan Mascarello, Lead Fight Choreographer) in a brutal, no-holds barred action sequence. Enraged by his old friend's disobedience, Mr. Callahan hires a young former soldier to end Jack's rebellion. Jack knows someone is coming, but he has no idea that the new recruit, Red (Jay Saunders) is a starving bloodhound sent straight from hell with nothing to lose.

So, now that you got an idea of what it's about, and what it'll look like, what do you monkeys think? Do you think this is worth putting up in Indy Intel? Every single one of our actors has been in another great Independent film from the East Coast, such as Ninjas Vs. Vampires  (Which has already gone to international distribution with much acclaim!) or Garden of Hedon.
