Hi, everybody. I'm Dreaded Candiru, and perhaps I would've put more thought into that handle of mine if I'd seen this coming. Really, SMMS kind of caught me by surprise. Here I was just idly slapping reviews together in my spare time after work, and along come these guys with an actual website and everything, and they're all, "hey, make videos for us," and I'm all, "um...sure?"

Right, I'm supposed to tell you about me now. So a while back, it occurred to me that I wasn't playing nearly as many games as it seemed like I should be. Until recently, I haven't exactly had a lot of cash to spare, so I'd learned to be very particular about which games I'd buy: the reviews had to be absolutely glowing, lots of positive comments online, and on and on. I thought that, just for once, I should try doing exactly the opposite of that--I should go look for games I'd never heard of, games I normally wouldn't even consider. 

This led me to an indie game called The Path, and it sucked. I was pretty pissed at it, and I'd taught myself to make videos by then, so I went on YouTube to complain for a while. And it turns out that sometimes the internet likes to watch nerds complain about video games, so I did it a few more times, and now here I am.

So I guess I'll keep doing that--looking for games I normally wouldn't play, playing them, and finding out if they suck or not. And the series is called Dreaded Reviews, because I was too tired to think of something more clever at the time. Here's hoping you guys approve.
